This Privacy Policy explains what information the Team Generation app ("Team Generation", "we", "us") — a cricket analytics app — collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account and data. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

• Your name, email address and profile picture from Google Sign-In.
• The mobile number you provide when you set up your account.

Usage information

Matches you research and teams you create — so the app can show your activity and results.

Device information

A push-notification token (only if you allow notifications) and standard technical data such as app version, device model and IP address.

2. How we use your information

• To sign you in and run the core features (research, analytics, team creation, results).
• To send notifications you opt into (e.g. line-ups announced, match results).
• To operate the optional premium pass and prevent duplicate credit.
• To keep the service secure, diagnose problems and improve the app.

3. Advertising

Free accounts may see ads served by Google AdMob. Where required by law, we ask for your consent first through Google's consent form. Premium accounts do not see ads. Google and its partners may use device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads; see Google's partner policy and AdMob's data disclosures for details.

4. Payments

Purchases (the optional premium pass) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your card or bank details — Google shares only a purchase confirmation that we use to activate your pass.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that operate the app — hosting, Google Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), Google Play (payments) and Google AdMob (ads) — and where required by law.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time — from Account & Settings → Delete account in the app, or by request. Deletion removes your profile, device tokens, and the teams you created. See our Account Deletion page for full steps and what is removed. Some records may be retained briefly where required for legal, security or accounting reasons.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and take reasonable measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

Team Generation is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Your rights

You can access and update your profile in the app, opt out of notifications, and delete your account and data. For any request, contact us below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available here, with the "Last updated" date above.
